Hiptown is a new-generation company that is not simply driven by an NLP. Hiptown is a responsible company that wants to integrate all the best practices in different fields to help create a better, fairer and better world for everyone.
1 – User first: Our employees are our first users, our first customers.
Because we want to offer a new experience that’s off the beaten track, because we want to change services through usage, not the other way around:
We do everything we can to offer our customers and users the best possible experience.
- We are a service company that relies on people to carry out its mission, which is why we place our employees at the center of our global thinking, as they are our first customers and embody the Hiptown experience.
- All our site managers are autonomous in their site’s decision-making as long as it respects the Hiptown charter.
- We involve all our operational teams in the design of Hiptown products
2 – The environment, from source to outlet :
For several years now, we have been deeply committed to minimizing the environmental footprint of our activities: we favor re-use by equipping our centers as much as possible with second-hand furniture, thanks in part to our partners Co-recyclage and Bluedigo.
- We give priority to wood for all custom-made furniture
- We give preference to local craftsmen
- We promote innovative designers who create with recycled materials
- We set up the locker if the asset and the activity allow it.
- We systematically sort all recyclable materials and reward good sorters.
- We require our service providers not to use frozen foods and to give preference to local producers.
- We promote all local partner productions
- We avoid losses as much as possible by offering promotional sales programs or donations to charities.
Hiptown’s national network enables us to work on all the themes presented here.
3 – Human capital
Because we are a service company dedicated to helping building users create unique living spaces, the people at Hiptown are our most precious asset:
- Wherever possible, we strive to recruit people on free employment contracts (30% of our workforce to date) or people undergoing professional reorientation.
- We regularly train all our employees through internal and external training courses.
- We believe that self-fulfillment comes from taking responsibility and being autonomous, so we support all our employees in becoming intra-entrepreneurs within Hiptown.
- Our associates support the Hiptown teams, not lead them.
4 – Local capitalization and solidarity
Unlike many venue management companies, we constantly adapt our specifications to the venue and its location. We don’t impose Hiptown, we integrate our services into an environment, and to do this we involve all the local players who can contribute to the success of our living spaces.
